The 12U program was developed to continue player development in a fun yet competitive environment. After the completion of the regular season a post season tournament is played with the top two teams receiving trophies. The winner of the post season tournament is eligible to move on to the area tournament.
Season Length
The season runs from March until the middle of May.
Time Commitment
Practice approximately 90 minutes once or twice a week (depending on the coach's schedule). Games are played on Saturday along with a few non-standing league games on Sunday. The game consists of two 30 minute halves.
Equipment
Each player will be given a uniform which consists of a jersey, shorts, and socks. The player must provide soccer cleats, shin guards and a size 4 soccer ball.
Certification Required
All volunteers must be registered AYSO Volunteers, and all coaches must be Safe Haven Certified.

Game Format
The game is played 11 vs. 11, under a modified FIFA rule system. The game is played with 4 quarters. Substitutions are done at each quarter, and there is a short break after the second quarter.
Team Formation
The teams are formed via a draft. The player ratings are provided to all coaches prior to the draft. There are no more than 15 players on a team.
Other
FIFA Laws are fully enforced by the referees in 12U. There are still no headers allowed in this division. Goalies are allowed drop-kick returns or throw-ins.
