Park & Field Instructions

There are two portions to setting up and taking down the fields. The first portion is called 'Park Set up/Take Down' bringing all of the equipment from the shed to the field (each park has a shed that the equipment is stored in) and putting up the signs and dropping the equipment at the individual fields. The second portion is called 'Field Set up/Take Down' which is setting up the goals and placing the flags at the individual fields.

For the first portion (equipment drop/Park Set up/Take down) each team (besides Playground) is assigned at least one day to set up or take down the field at your game day field. On the game schedules found here: LINK the teams in yellow will set up the field and the teams in orange will take down the field. Please view your team’s assigned day and mark it on your calendar.

For the second portion (setting up corner flags and goals or field set up/take down) the first teams of the night/day are expected to put the goals and corner flags up. Please come early to the game to set up the goals (times can be found below).  The last teams of the night/day at the individual field are expected to take down the goals/flags and put the equipment in the wagons.

Please view specific instructions for each field below:

U6, U8, Playground
Paiute Park

Setup teams (indicated in Yellow on the game schedule) please meet at the equipment shed at 7:50 am. A Board Member will meet you and direct you. There will be multiple wagons to facilitate getting the equipment out of the shed. Goals, corner flags, signs and referee snacks will all need to be pulled out and dropped at the individual fields. Two goals and four corner flags will be dropped at each field. Signs will be set up at the entrance of the park and by each field. Referee snack wagon will be moved to the center of the U8 and U6 fields. All wagons should be placed by the referee snack wagon after equipment is dropped.

Teams that have the first game of the morning will need to put together the goal, anchor it into the ground and insert the corner flags into the ground on their field. Please arrive 25 minutes before your game to set up.

Teams that have the last game of the day will put down all of the goals (please be careful, make sure to push the silver buttons down when collapsing the goals) and flags and deposit them into the wagons at the center of the fields.

Takedown teams (indicated in Orange on the game schedule) will gather the signs and the equipment that has been deposited into the wagons back to the shed and put the equipment back in its place.
