IMPORTANT REGISTRATION INFORMATION

Registration for the 2020 Fall season will open soon
Fall registration is open from (TBD)

All players go directly to wait list, with no payment due at this time and you will be asked to pay when we know there will be a Fall season. If we can proceed, we will assign your child a team and notify you to pay. Players will come off the wait list on a first-come, first-served basis, so make sure to register now.

Games are tentatively scheduled to begin in September. Practice and game schedules will be made available after all teams are formed.

New players to AYSO and Region 1315 must upload a copy of an age verification document (birth certificate,
passport, insurance card – if birth date is listed.) New and some returning players may need to attend a brief evaluation.

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

AYSO’S Playground program is a unique development program designed to introduce 3-year-olds to soccer in a fun, pressure-free environment while focusing on improving children’s Fundamental Motor Skills (FMS) utilizing age-appropriate activities. The program is designed by child development and soccer experts, giving children a foundation for success in any sport.

Your child must be at least 3 years old on or before the first session.

Playground uses group activities that are soccer theme-related. Players participate on a weekly basis with their parent/guardian working with them on the field. The program uses soccer as the “teaching thread” to develop fundamental motor skills. Players will hop, skip, jump, run, throw, balance, kick and play. However, this is not the standard game format implemented in 6U and above divisions.

Program Highlights

6 sessions on Saturday on the Lower field at Mountain's Edge Regional Park
There are no sessions on Sundays and no practices.
Motor skills that will lead into moves fundamental to the game of soccer. Kids see it as fun play!
Parent/guardian participation is requested. (You will have fun!)
